Brian Valencia is an agricultural Engineer with an MSc in Hydrometeorology and nearly 12 years of experience researching climate change impacts. Expert in GIS, species distribution modeling, precision agriculture and water modeling, contributing to sustainable resource management and climate adaptation strategies.

Climate Researcher

Jefferson Rodriguez is an Environmental Engineer with an MSc in Environment and 10+ years’ experience leading multidisciplinary projects in digital agriculture, climate services, and systems modeling. Proficient in R, Python, SQL, ML, GIS, and IoT, with a proven record of collaboration across LATAM, the Caribbean, Africa, and Asia.

Samy Mafla is an Economist and Business Administrator with an MSc in Sustainable Development. He has 10 years of research experience in climate change, water sustainability, and ecological economics, focusing on financial analyses like cost-benefit and cost-effectiveness studies.

Fabio Casto is  a Geographer and Master's graduate in Geographic Information Science with expertise in spatial analysis, GIS decision-making, species distribution modeling, and machine learning. He has led research projects assessing climate change impacts on crops like coffee, cocoa, and tea, and managed GIS mobility initiatives in Santiago de Cali. Proficient in R for handling large spatial datasets, he is currently an associate researcher in Climate Action at Bioversity – CIAT.
